Chemotherapy Nurse – (Wonford, Exeter)

This unique field‑based role offers the perfect next step for nurses who want to deliver exceptional oncology care while shaping the capability of a wider clinical workforce. About the Role Working autonomously across the South West region (EX areas), you will deliver high‑quality oncology care directly to patients in their homes. You’ll administer a range of haematology and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, ensuring safe, compassionate, person‑centred care.
Alongside patient-facing work, you’ll also contribute to the development of other clinicians, helping to raise standards, build confidence, and embed best practice across services.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy treatments in line with patient care plans
- Provide expert clinical assessment, IV therapy, cannulation, and phlebotomy
- Support and mentor other clinicians to enhance service quality
- Build long‑term therapeutic relationships with patients and carers
- Document clinical data and adverse events accurately and promptly
- Travel independently across your regional area (full UK driving licence required)
- NMC‑registered
- Fully competent in administering a range of chemotherapy drugs
- Holder of a SACT Passport (preferred) or equivalent chemotherapy qualification
- Experienced in oncology care within hospital or community settings
- Skilled in IV administration, cannulation, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment
- Passionate about person‑centred care and supporting others
